MIREX Hungary Ltd. is a young, Hungarian-owned company, born out of the global economic crisis that has been going on for more than 2 years.
“As a company owner, we also run successful businesses in other fields. In the face of the drastic supply difficulties that have occurred recently, we have joined forces to start a new joint venture, the main aim of which is to import high quality goods produced by Ukrainian producers into the European Union, and to seek out the best opportunities in international markets to expand their supply with more and more staple foods.
Our primary goal is to ensure that our products of the highest quality on the market reach as many potential partners as possible.
Our main policy is to focus on the 3 most important raw materials in the food industry. These are flour, oil and sugar. We have been contacting existing and newly contracted producers for several years. We have been working with new and existing producers, who have the capacity to supply our contracted partners on a continuous basis, in line with the high quality standards required in the European markets.
Today, the first and most important shortcoming is the availability of quality sunflower oil produced at a good price/quality ratio and available on the shelves of the shops. We supply our premium quality oil from Ukrainian producers with long-term contracts who are major players in the world edible oil production.
The second most important product that appears in our shopping baskets every day is flour. We supply our high quality BL 55 and BL 80 flour directly from our own mills to bakeries and wholesale partners.
Thanks to good quality land and knowledgeable farmers, we are able to produce flour with a consistently high yield.
Our third product is refined sugar, which is now a household staple and one of the most missing products on retail shelves.
